David Moberg Karlsson has confirmed that he will be moving from IFK Goteborg to Sunderland this summer.
The 19-year-old has signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed amount, and will move to play at the Stadium of Light.
The forward began his career with IFK Mariestad and thereafter joined Goteborg in 2010. He made his senior team debut for the Allsvenskan club when he was 17 years of age.
He has made 28 appearances in total for Goteborg, ten of which came in the ongoing campaign.
The Swedish U19 international was also actively on duty for his country in a match against France earlier this month.
He was part of the squad, which included former Black Cat Tobias Hysen, that took home the Swedish Cup last month, coming in as a substitute against Djurgardens IF in the final match of the tournament.
