David Moyes urges Jordan Pickford to ignore Bayern Munich's links
A decent season with Everton followed by a solid outing with England in the World Cup has seen Jordan Pickford's stocks rise rapidly. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich. But the man who gave him his debut at Sunderland - David Moyes, has suggested he stay put at Everton.
Moyes told the Sun:
“I think Everton is the right club for Jordan. I would say to him it would be stupid to even consider another move if there was to be an option for him. He is still young and he just needs to keep getting his games in. The last thing he needs to bother about is any speculation."
Arsenal keen on landing Max Meyer
Unai Emery is reportedly keen on signing Max Meyer, who is currently a free agent, this summer. The 22-year-old left Schalke a couple of months ago and is on the lookout for a new club. The Mirror has reported that Arsenal are ready to sign him but want Meyer to reduce his wage demands. The attacking midfielder reportedly wants £4 million per year in wages.
