Manchester United interested in Jerome Boateng

Kicker understands that Manchester United are monitoring the situation of Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng. The defender has been linked with a move away from the Bavarians with Paris Saint Germain also registering an interest.

United are eyeing a central defender this summer and have been regularly linked with Harry Maguire. Boateng is a cheaper substitute to Maguire as Bayern Munich will be willing to sell the World Cup winner in the price range of €50-60 million.

Fulham contact Borussia Dortmund over Andre Schurrle

The Cottagers have initiated talks with Borussia Dortmund over the sale of wantaway winger Andre Schurrle. The winger has been released from the club's tour of the USA to complete a summer move.

Lazio are also interested in the 27-year-old whereas Crystal Palace and Everton have also been offered the services of Schurrle, reports the Daily Mail.
