Real Madrid preparing €80 million plus Karim Benzema offer for Eden Hazard
Chelsea's £200 million valuation of Eden Hazard had slowed down Real Madrid's process of signing the Belgian. But Florentino Perez has made Hazard his no.1 choice to replace Cristiano Ronaldo and has now prepared a new offer to tempt Chelsea.
The Blues are in the market for a striker and Real Madrid are looking to use that in their favour. According to Don Balon, Real Madrid have offered Chelsea a deal of €80 million plus Karim Benzema in return for Eden Hazard. This offer still falls below Chelsea's expectations but Real Madrid hope to get Chelsea on their side with the inclusion of the French striker.
Chelsea monitoring Jasper Cillessen
Transfermarketweb has claimed that Chelsea will look towards Jasper Cillessen if and when Thibaut Courtois decides to leave the club. The Blues have reportedly made Barcelona's deputy goalkeeper their prime target to replace the Madrid-bound Courtois. Cillessen is valued by the Catalans at a high price of around €50 million.
