Off to Besiktas?

Besiktas contact Simon Mignolet

According to Sky Sports, Besiktas have initiated contact with Liverpool regarding the transfer of Simon Mignolet. After selling Fabri to Wolves, the Turkish giants are now looking for a new no.1 goalkeeper.

Mignolet is incidentally on the lookout for a new club after the arrival of Alisson Becker at Anfield. The Belgian shot-stopper has been at Liverpool since 2013 and has made 202 appearances for the first team.

Top clubs eyeing Pepe

Besiktas' star defender Pepe seems to be on the radar of a couple of top clubs. Turkish outlet, Fanatik, has claimed that FC Porto and Wolves are targeting Pepe this summer. Besiktas value the Portuguese centre-back at €7 million. Pepe came to Turkey last summer and made 35 appearances for Besiktas.
