Monaco have successfully fought off Arsenal and will keep Thomas Lemar
After a summer-long transfer saga, English Premier League side Arsenal have finally ended their interest in winger Thomas Lemar after failing to meet Monaco's evaluation of the player.
Monaco have already lost a number of their title winning players like Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy. Manager Leonardo Jardim is reluctant to lose any more players this summer and will fight most offers tooth and nail.

The Dutch club's Colombian centre back has reportedly gone on strike and has refused to board the team bus ahead of their opening game of the new season, according to the Mirror.
The 21-year old is one of Tottenham's only transfer targets this summer and they are understood to be closing in on signing the defender. The North London club are considering a move for the £27 million rated defender in a deal that could go up to a total of £35 million including add ons.
