Lyon want Olivier Giroud to be included in the Alexander Lacazette deal
With the Gunners close to agreeing on a deal for Lyon's Alexander Lacazette, the French club are eager to make the Gunners use Olivier Giroud as a makeweight in the deal. Lacazette is valued at £60 million and with his arrival being imminent, Giroud's importance at the Emirates will understandably be lowered.
The towering French striker needs regular game-time in order to guarantee his place in next year's World Cup squad which can be made available for him at Lyon.
Ajax captain set to depart
Davy Klassen has been a mainstay in this young and brave Ajax team which has caught the attention of Dutch manager Ronald Koeman. He is keen to add Klassen in his Everton squad and Liverpool Echo has now reported that a £26 million fee is agreed between the two clubs and the midfielder is set to be announced as an Everton player next week.
