According to Mundo Deportivo, the 28-year-old was in Barcelona last week and is reportedly keen on a return to his native Spain.
- According to Spanish sports site to El Desmarque Vigo, Celta Vigo centre-half Sergio Gomez is being chased by QPR and Fulham. It seems that the west London rivals are in talks to sign the defender, and a £4.6 million bid has been lodged by one of them. Though the bidder was not revealed, it is more likely to be Fulham after the club was released from its transfer embargo this week.
- James Rodriguez has said that he wants to stay with Real Madrid despite losing his position in the starting line-up, putting an end to his transfer rumours.
