FC Barcelona set to meet Atletico Madrid officials over the transfer of Antoine Griezmann
Sport has revealed that Barcelona officials are expected to meet with their Atletico Madrid counterparts to discuss a summer move for Antoine Griezmann. The player and the club reportedly want the deal to be concluded before the start of the World Cup in Russia.
Barcelona are believed to want to conclude the negotiations as swiftly as possible and are ready to pay an amount slightly higher than Griezmann's release clause of €100 million to maintain good relations with the Rojiblancos.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid finalize an offer for Paulo Dybala
Another report from Sport has reported that Atletico Madrid have already identified Antoine Griezmann's successor in the Spanish capital. Juventus' Paulo Dybala is set to be the man to replace the Frenchman with Atletico Madrid reportedly readying a €120 million offer for the Argentine forward.
Dybala recently met Diego Simeone for dinner at a Madrid restaurant which has further ignited rumours of Dybala's move to La Liga.
