Marco Asensio might soon ply his trade in the Premier League

Recent reports from Europe have claimed that Christian Eriksen could soon be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur. Now, reports from The Sun claim that Spurs have opened talks with Real Madrid superstar, Marco Asensio, to replace Eriksen, should the Danish star decide to leave the club.

Notably, Spurs did not make any signings in the summer transfer window, and could certainly look to make amends in the winter one.

However, the report claims that Asensio personally wants to stay loyal and remain in Madrid. The 22-year-old has made 22 appearances for Real Madrid so far this season but has only scored 4 goals.
