Florentino Perez identifies David Alaba as Real Madrid's top target
There is little doubt that Real Madrid have struggled ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. With individual players failing to step up to the mantle and take charge, the general belief is that the club president, Florentino Perez, will have to look outwards to induce a change.
With the winter transfer window almost upon us, all eyes will be on Madrid and the business they do ahead of the second half of the season. According to reports from Don Balon (via Fox Sports), Perez has supposedly identified Bayern Munich's David Alaba as the club's top target.
The report claims that Alaba's €60 million price tag could coax Madrid into pursuing the 26-year-old. With Marcelo's future still uncertain, Los Blancos could be expected to make a formal offer in the near future.
