Brexit 'no deal' could force Gareth Bale out of Real Madrid
According to reports from ESPN, superstar Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid is as uncertain as ever, with the impending resolution of the Brexit situation (slated to happen on the 29th of March).
Should the United Kingdom leave the European Union in the case of a 'no deal' Brexit, Bale, as well as 800,000 other British citizens working in other European countries could lose their right to work in those countries.
While the Withdrawal Agreement capable of preventing such a situation was drawn up in November 2018, it remains unclear as to whether it will be ratified by the British Parliament.
When Bale's agent was contacted regarding the 29-year-old's future, he said that they "would wait and see what happens". He also said that it was "impossible to plan" amidst the current chaotic nature of the situation.
