Inter Milan to return for Manchester United's Matteo Darmian
Matteo Darmian joined Manchester United before the 2015-16 season, and he went on to play 39 matches in all competitions that season. However, since then, his first-team role has sharply reduced. The Italian defender has made just 3 appearances in the ongoing season and is believed to be frustrated with the situation.
Now, reports from The Sun claim that Darmian could be handed an opportunity to leave the club, as Serie A giants, Inter Milan, reportedly plan another approach for him. Inter had previously tried to acquire him on a loan deal earlier in the summer, but the Red Devils had been quick to shoot down the offer.
The report claims that Inter turned to Atletico Madrid's Sime Vrsaljko instead, but the Croatian has been injury-prone and has failed to impress as expected. As a result, Darmian is reportedly being viewed as a solution, as Inter look to make another move for the 29-year-old in January.
