Malcom to stay put at Bordeaux until the summer
Arsenal have been dealt a major transfer blow with the Sun reporting that the French club has now decided against selling their top asset this month. Malcom was seen as a direct replacement for the seemingly Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez with the Gunners preparing a £40 million bid for the winger.
But Bordeaux are currently struggling in Ligue 1 and after a run of just two wins in 13 matches, the club has sacked manager Jocelyn Gourvennec. The club hierarchy believes Malcom is necessary to their cause of safety and hence won't be selling him this month.
Mario Balotelli linked with a return to AC Milan
Gazzetta Dello Sport understands that AC Milan could make a move for the mercurial Mario Balotelli in the summer. The talented striker was sold by the Rossoneri but has regained his lost touch at Nice.
Balotelli has found his scoring boots in France and has been the club's top scorer since joining them. Milan are in search of a striker and may give another chance to Super Mario.
