Manchester City eyeing sensational swap deal
According to the Sun, Atletico Madrid have gotten in touch with Sergio Aguero's representatives over a potential deal in the summer. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola is interested in working with Atletico's Antoine Griezmann which is now predicted to become one of the most high profile swap deals of all time.
Griezmann has a £85 million release clause in the summer as City believe that a majority of that amount will be paid in the form of Sergio Aguero. The French forward has previously been linked with Manchester United and FC Barcelona but this is a deal which may make perfect sense for both the parties - Atletico Madrid achieving a dream return for Aguero and Guardiola getting his man.
Chelsea frustrated with Antonio Conte's attitude
Chelsea's boardroom have reportedly been left bewildered by Antonio Conte's statement regarding transfers after the 2-1 loss to Arsenal. "About the transfer market, from the summer, the club decides every single player that comes here. For sure, I don't have a big impact on the transfer market," said Conte.
Despite Conte stating differently, Sky Sports have revealed that Chelsea have worked on all the targets that were demanded by the manager and the likes of Ross Barkley, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayako, Alvaro Morata and Davide Zappacosta have all been Conte's signings.

Chelsea agree transfer fee for the AS Roma duo
The Guardian understands that Chelsea have reached an agreement with AS Roma for the transfer of Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri to Stamford Bridge. It is reported that a £44 million bid plus £14.3 million in add-ons has been accepted by Roma. The next step that remains is the agreement over personal terms.
Negotiations with Palmieri are not expected to be tiresome but the same cannot be said for Edin Dzeko. As reported yesterday, Chelsea are unsure about offering a huge contract to a 31-year-old Dzeko which is against their transfer policy whereas the Bosnian will only join Chelsea on at least a two-year deal.
Joao Mario set for a West Ham medical today
The good folks at Sky Sports have revealed that Inter Milan's Joao Mario is due in London today to complete his move to West Ham United. The midfielder is expected to be available for selection against Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Hammers will sign the midfielder on a short loan spell but will reportedly have a chance to sign him permanently in the summer for £26 million.

Julian Brandt to extend his stay with Bayer Leverkusen
A Bayern Munich and Manchester United target, Julian Brandt has given an indication that he will sign a new contract soon to extend his stay with Bayer Leverkusen. Brandt has a deal until 2019 with the Bundesliga side and has a €12.5 million release clause.
Sport Bild has now claimed that Brandt is ready to reject advances from Bayern Munich as he is keen on playing for his current side. The club are set to hold talks with Brandt's camp in February.
Baba Rehman set for Schalke medical
With Emerson Palmieri seemingly on his way to Chelsea, Baba Rehman seems to be ending his stint in England with the Blues, by securing a move to Schalke 04. The left-back had spent the previous season on loan at the Gelsenkirchen club where he made 13 appearances.
Schalke boss Dominico Tedesco is keen on landing the 23-year-old and Sky Sports has reported that Rehman is set to travel soon to complete his move.

Real Madrid contact Jorge Mendes over David De Gea
Cadena SER reports that Real Madrid have contacted Jorge Mendes and made clear their intentions to sign his client David De Gea in the summer. The Spanish giants are set to sign a custodian in the summer and after missing out on Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga, Real Madrid have now gone back for the Manchester United shot-stopper.
Real Madrid tried to sign De Gea back in 2015 but the move fell down at the final frontier due to an infamous fax machine incident. But Madrid are confident of landing De Gea this summer with Mendes reportedly quoting a price of €100 million for the Spaniard.
Sevilla in talks with Swansea City for Roque Mesa
Sevilla have contacted Swansea over a deal for midfielder Roque Mesa who has been a long-term target for the Spanish giants.
Mesa is keen on returning to La Liga and has requested the Swans to accept Sevilla's advances, according to Marca.
Mesa has played 16 league games this season and has impressed with his abilities to control the tempo of the game.

Nicolai Jorgensen interested in a move to Newcastle United
Feyenoord's Nicolai Jorgensen is interested in a move to Tyneside where he can lead the line for Newcastle United. The Chronicle has claimed that the Magpies submitted a £14 million bid for the striker last week which was rejected by the Dutch club.
Feyenoord reportedly want £20 million, with Newcastle ready to pay the required amount, which will make the 27-year-old one of the Premier League side's most expensive transfer of all time.
FC Lokomotiv Moscow eyeing Lazar Markovic
The frozen out Liverpool winger may have finally found a way out of his misery with the Mirror reporting that Lokomotiv Moscow are looking to take him on board.
Markovic last played for Liverpool in May 2015 and spent the last season on loan at Hull City. Jurgen Klopp is ready to let him go on a permanent basis, but Moscow are said to be interested only in a loan spell.
