With Marouane Fellaini leaving and Michael Carrick retiring in the summer, Manchester United are being linked with top midfielders every day. Bild has now claimed that Jose Mourinho is looking to make a bid for Bayern Munich's Arturo Vidal.

After the arrival of Leon Goretzka at the Allianz Arena, Vidal's chances of regular game time look bleak. The 30-year-old will be on the lookout for a new club in the summer with United now making their interest known. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are expected to demand a fee in the region of £37 million for the Chilean.

Stuttgart sack Hannes Wolf

The German side has today announced that it has parted ways with the 36-year-old manager. Wolf guided them to a promotion last season but got his marching orders after yesterday's defeat against Schalke. Stuttgart have lost six of their last seven league games and are just above the relegation zone in 15th place with 20 points which prompted the board to take such a decision.
