Arsenal closing in on Bernd Leno
According to the Mirror, Arsenal are close to reaching a breakthrough for the signature of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. Leno's representatives are confident over agreeing upon a £22 million move for the German custodian.
Arsenal are looking at an upgrade on Petr Cech with the veteran goalkeeper expected to be the second choice next season. Leno was also on Napoli's radar but the 26-year-old was keen on testing himself in the Premier League.
Everton eyeing Marvin Plattenhardt
German international Marvin Plattenhardt is reportedly on Everton's radar. Sky Sports has revealed that Marco Silva is eyeing a move for Plattenhardt this summer as he is looking for a competition to Leighton Baines. The left-back made 33 appearances for Hertha Berlin last season and is selected in the German World Cup squad.
