Chelsea face Antonio Conte conundrum
The Telegraph reports that Chelsea are unsure over how to solve their managerial issues. It is reported that that Blues will have to pay £9 million as compensation to Conte in order to relieve him of his duties. Whereas a mutual partition is believed to be off the table.
Conte is adamant over his stance of seeing out his contract and intends to return to pre-season training next month. Chelsea do not want Conte and have identified Mauricio Sarri and Laurent Blanc as the potential candidates to replace him.
Ander Herrera set for showdown talks with Jose Mourinho
After not starting regularly last season, Ander Herrera is all set for showdown talks over his future with the Manchester United boss. The Sun has claimed that Herrera is eyeing guarantees over playing time which seems to be further diminished after the arrival of Fred.
Herrera has just a year left on his United contract. He is hoping for a new deal from the club while Jose Mourinho also wants to keep him under his tutelage.
