Real Madrid want Mohamed Salah to replace Gareth Bale

The Welshman has been given a peripheral role for Real Madrid this season with many predicting that Bale's time in Spain is coming to an end. El Confidencial has claimed that Florentino Perez wants Liverpool's Mohamed Salah to replace the former Spurs man.

Salah has been on fire this season and has already netted 31 goals in all competitions. Madrid have reportedly received an information that Salah will be available for a price of around €160 million, a value similar to that of Philippe Coutinho.

Lionel Messi wants Ivan Rakitic to stay

The arrival of Philippe Coutinho has cast a doubt on the future of Ivan Rakitic. The Croatian midfielder is worried about his playing time and is hence being linked with a summer move to the Premier League.

But Don Balon has now reported that Lionel Messi is ready to intervene in this matter and is keen on convincing Rakitic to stay put at the club. Messi sees Rakitic as a crucial player under Ernesto Valverde.
