Real Madrid to beat Liverpool for the signing of Alisson

AS Roma's much talked about goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been the talk of the town in recent weeks. It has now emerged that Real Madrid are set to break the world record fee for a custodian by making a €70 million bid for the Brazilian no.1.

Liverpool are set to suffer a huge blow in their search for a long-term keeper with Alisson admitting an interest in the Spanish club. He was quoted by the Mirror as saying, "Real Madrid’s interest in me makes me happy, I won’t deny that. Imagine when a club like Real Madrid does that… but for now, I’m focused on Roma.”

Wolves to rival Arsenal for Andre Silva

The Portuguese striker has failed to live up to expectations at AC Milan after his £34 million move from FC Porto last summer. He is hence being linked with a move away from Milan. According to the Mirror, Wolves are ready to rival Arsenal for the signing of Silva.

The striker's agent is Jorge Mendes who has a close relationship with the Wolves owners. Silva has also previously worked with the Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo at Porto which makes the English side favourite to land him.
