If the folks at the Sun are to be taken seriously, then Liverpool are said to be leading the race to sign Nice's Jean-Michael Serri. The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool but the Reds now seem to be in pole position to sign Serri.

He is being touted as a straight replacement for Emre Can, who is set to sign for Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.

Manchester City enter Ryan Sessegnon race

Along with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, it is the turn of the champions-elect to register an interest in Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon, the Mirror reports. The teenager can play anywhere on the left flank and has been courted by some of the top clubs in the world.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the Englishman. Sessegnon has already scored 13 goals for the Cottagers this season.
