Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's Daily Transfer Roundup. Without further ado, let's take a look at the top transfer news, rumours and updates of the day.
Arsenal eyeing another move for Ever Banega
With Aaron Ramsey set to depart in the summer, Arsenal are on the lookout for an experienced campaigner to fill the void that will be left by the Welshman in midfield. As such, they are preparing to go back for a former transfer target, Ever Banega, as per the Mirror.
Arsenal were reportedly interested in making a move for the Sevilla midfielder in January. However, they chose not to pursue the 30-year-old by virtue of a lack of funds. Banega will be available for £17 million.
Emery and Banega have worked together twice at Valencia and Sevilla and the manager is said to be a fan of the Argentine.
Liverpool to rival Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho
Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he was an admirer of Jadon Sancho though there was little chance of the Reds signing him as he belonged to title-rivals Manchester City. According to Daily Mirror, this means that Reds are all set to rekindle their interest in the breakout star of the current season in the Bundesliga. Klopp said,
"We are not blind - we saw him, we liked him and then we think 'Can we get him?' No. Because English clubs don't sell to other English clubs.
"I don't know exactly what the reason is for that but they don't do it. Now they can go to Germany which is a wonderful league."
Reports had come out earlier this week which claimed that Manchester United had enquired about Sancho's availability to Borussia Dortmund.
Sergio Ramos gives Perez a list of 3 players he wants out of Real Madrid
Real Madrid seemed to have turned their awful start to the season around until Girona criminally tamed their hopes by pulling an upset this past weekend. All's not well inside the Real Madrid camp and as per new reports, club captain Sergio Ramos has passed a list of 3 players on to Florentino Perez whom he believes should not be at the club beyond the summer.
The first one is Thibaut Courtois who hasn't done enough to justify his presence in Madrid. The second is Marcelo who seems to have already fallen a fair deal off his game. The third one is Jesus Vallejo who hasn't shown signs of living up to the intial hype.
Real Madrid pip Barcelona to top target, agrees terms
Real Madrid have been looking out for defensive reinforcements and have now moved closer than ever to signing Porto centre-back Eder Militao. According to reports from Spain, Florentino Perez has been keen on making signings that won't cost a fortune and has now 'almost signed' Eder Militao from Porto.
The 21-year-old will reportedly cost the Blancos €50 million. As per the report, the player has reached an agreement with the team. Now the clubs need to come to an understanding over the price and the deal will go over the line.
