Lyon chairman admits Nabil Fekir and Tanguy Ndombele could leave this summer
Two of Olympique Lyon's best midfielders Nabil Fekir and Tanguy Ndombele have been the subjects of interest to several top European clubs. Now the club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted that both players could leave in the summer.
The club is waiting for acceptable offers to be tabled so that they can let the duo leave. Nabil Fekir came incredibly close to joining Liverpool last summer before the Merseysiders pulled out in the last second due to concerns over a historic knee injury.
Tanguy Ndombele has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur. Speaking to L'Equipe, Aulas said,
"What player wouldn't be interested in such a big club?"
About Fekir, he said,
"His preference is shifting towards a move. We are open to discussions.I have no news. We are waiting for offers in the coming days but for now, there is nothing.
"Nothing is decided for Tanguy Ndombele. We have lots of offers but they do not come up to the price we feel is right."
