Zinedine Zidane names the 3 players he wants sold from Real Madrid
When Zinedine Zidane made one of the unlikeliest returns to the helm of any football club in the history of European football, he must have definitely handed in a list of specific demands. Now, with the summer transfer window within arm's distance, we are going to see Zizou's plans unfold.
Zidane has told the Real Madrid top brass that he wants Llorente, Sergio Reguilon and Dani Ceballos sold in the summer. This is quite a shocking turn of events as all the three above mentioned players were nearly untouchable under Solari and had grown in stature at the Santiago Bernabeu as well.
Llorente and Reguilon were almost first-team regulars under Santiago Solari and had forced Casemiro and Marcelo to the bench. Zidane does not trust Llorente enough to count on him. He feels that the best thing to do with Llorente would be to sell him with an option to buy him back in case he blossoms at another club.
Zidane wants Reguilon sold in order to make way for a galactico like David Alaba. Ceballos has been unable to find consistency and is hence all set to face the axe.
