Arsenal set to sign Dani Ceballos on loan

Dani Ceballos is one of the midfielders who will see playing time coming at a premium next season if he is to kick on at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond the summer. However, latest reports suggest that Ceballos is on the verge of joining Arsenal on a loan deal.

Ceballos who joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2017 and starred for the Spanish u-21 team in the recently concluded u-21 Euro tournament.

Ahead of the potential loan deal, Emery praised Ceballos. Speaking ahead of Arsenal's final International Champions Cup match against Real in Washington DC, Emery said,

"We are speaking about the possibility to sign one player,"

"We have different names and the club is working on that.

"Ceballos is a very good player. I know him from [Real] Betis at the beginning and Real Madrid."
