Romelu Lukaku says playing in the Serie A is a dream amid speculation
Romelu Lukaku has failed to nail down a starting spot in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's underperforming Manchester United squad and is tipped to depart in the summer to make way for fresh signings. Lukaku has been heavily linked with a move to the Serie A and now, the striker has revealed that it is a dream for him to ply his trade in Italy.
Lukaku, who was United's first-choice striker under Jose Mourinho, has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and now plays second fiddle to Marcus Rashford. Lukaku joined Manchester United in the summer of 2017 amid huge fanfare after impressing heavily at Everton. On being quizzed about a potential move to the Serie A in the Lords of Football show, the big Belgian said,
"Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream. I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United."
