Arsenal eyeing move for Andre Gomes

Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes who is currently on loan at Everton will be the subject of a transfer battle in the summer. Arsenal, who will be looking to strengthen their midfield in the summer, will give Everton a run for their money in the summer as they are expected to make a move for the 25-year-old.

Everton are keen on making Gomes' deal permanent and Barcelona are willing to offload him for a sum in the ballpark of £25 million. Reports suggest that Arsenal manager Unai Emery is a long-term admirer of the midfielder and wants him signed up. Besides, Arsenal's Director of Football, Raul Sanllehi, helped facilitate the deal that took Gomes to Barcelona from Valencia in 2016.

Arsenal are desperate to find a good replacement for Aaron Ramsey who will join Juventus in the summer on a free transfer.
