Manchester United interested in signing Moussa Dembele if Lukaku leaves

Manchester United have shortlisted Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as one of the candidates to replace Romelu Lukaku should he leave the club this summer. The 23-year-old no.9 has played for Celtic and Fulham in the past.

Inter Milan are interested in signing Romelu Lukaku. However, they are hesitant to meet Manchester United's valuation of the player and have had a bid of £54 million already rejected. They are expected to return for the Belgian with an improved bid, but United won't sell Lukaku if they can't get back the £79 million they paid for him in 2017.

Inter Milan are also looking to offload Mauro Icardi, and Radja Naingollan and those sales will need to happen soon for them to be safe from FFP penalties so that they can go ahead and secure the services of Lukaku.

However, with only 2 more weeks left in the Premier League transfer window, it's difficult to put your money on Lukaku leaving United at this moment.
