Chelsea make first official offer for Christian Pulisic

The 20-year-old has been eyed by several big clubs

Christian Pulisic has become a household name in Germany due to his performances for Borussia Dortmund over the past two seasons. The American star has become a fixed member of Dortmund's first team. Premier League giants, Chelsea, have been heavily linked with a move for him in the past. Now, reports from The Evening Standard, the Blues have reportedly made an official first offer for the 20-year-old.

Chelsea are believed to have contacted Dortmund over the weekend in a bid to take Pulisic to England in January. The report claims that Chelsea's offer is below Dortmund's £70 million valuation of the player, and that the Bundesliga giants want him to remain at the club until the end of the season.

Notably, Pulisic has just 18 months left on his current contract and could force Dortmund to sell him for the right price.
