Bayern ask Chelsea to sign Mats Hummels for £30 million before January 14th

As per a Sun exclusive, Bayern Munich have asked Chelsea to furnish £30 million if they want to sign Mats Hummels in January. Hummels is no longer first-choice at Bayern Munich and the Stamford Bridge outfit believes that they can benefit from his experience.

Hummels, as per the report, is interested in joining Chelsea. The Bayern Munich top brass have asked Chelsea to finalize the deal by January 14th so that they will have ample time to find a replacement for the German international.

The report further claims that Maurizio Sarri has informed Sporting Director Marina Granovskaia that signing a centre-back is the team's priority.
