The Red Devils are close to agreeing a new long-term contract with mercurial winger Anthony Martial, according to BBC. The 23-year-old has been in talks with the club over a potential contract extension for quite a while now and it looks like the parties are close to coming to an agreement.

Martial was tipped to leave this past summer after Mourinho decided that he had had enough with the Frenchman's inconsistency. The former AS Monaco youngster's current contract at Manchester United is set to expire in 2020 after the Red Devils decided to activate a one-year extension clause in his initial agreement.
