Isco wants to join Chelsea
Isco has decided to leave Real Madrid and join Chelsea according to Don Balon. The Spanish publication claims that the midfielder is not happy under Santiago Solari and has decided that he wants to leave.
The 26-year-old was left out of the squad for their Champions League fixture against AS Roma and reports suggested that he has a rift with the manager. Solari said the midfielder was left out for 'reasons' but did not specify anything.
Apart from Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool were also interested in signing him but the Spaniard sees himself replacing Cesc Fabregas at Stamford Bridge. The former Malaga star was also a target for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City but the Cityzens are no longer willing to make a move for him.
Isco has a €700 million release clause and there is no way Chelsea will activate it. The Blues will have to get into negotiations with the Bernabeu side but that will come at a huge price. Madrid are keen on signing Eden Hazard and will push for him again in the summer.
