Chelsea identify Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho as Eden Hazard's replacement
With Eden Hazard set to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid, the Blues will understandably be desperate to get their hands on a suitable replacement - if their transfer ban gets overturned. Chelsea are currently banned from making any transfers for a period of two transfer windows. However, they reportedly believe that they are innocent and are allegedly willing to protest the ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Should they succeed in having the ban overturned, according to reports from The Mirror, Chelsea have reportedly earmarked Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho as the ideal replacement for the departing Belgian superstar.
Meanwhile, Coutinho has struggled to cement a place for himself at Barcelona, ever since moving from Liverpool. Subsequently, several reports have suggested that the Brazilian could be open towards returning to the Premier League, where he previously shone for Liverpool.
