Real Madrid to demand
€700 million for
Isco
Since the end of last month, several reports have claimed that Isco is growing extremely unhappy at Real Madrid, and is looking for a move away from the club. Subsequent reports claimed that Premier League giants, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were set to battle it out for the Spaniard.
Other reports claimed that Juventus and Manchester City were interested as well. However, according to the latest reports from The Daily Express, Real Madrid will look to ward off interest in Isco by demanding that any interested club pay his full release clause of €700million (£623 million) - a fee more than 3 times the current world-record fee (€222 million) that Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar.
The report claims that Madrid will not allow him to leave for a lesser fee and that only a jaw-dropping world-record fee will be able to prise him out of the club.
