Manchester United move into pole position to sign Leicester's James Maddison
James Maddison has had an impressive season in the Premier League winning fans over with his fleet-footedness and creativity. As such, his exploits did not go unnoticed and is being courted by 4 Premier League giants: Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
If the latest reports in England are to be believed, Manchester United have now edged past their competition in their bid to secure the English midfielder's signing. Leicester want £60 million for their primary source of creativity on the field and will not accept anything less if they are to let go of the 22-year-old.
The report adds that United are yet to table an official bid and the move is in the enquiries and discussions stage. But the fact remains that they have now made Maddison a priority. James Maddison is responsible for creating the most number of goalscoring chances in the Premier League in the 2018-19 season.
