Morata's struggles in front of goal are well documented. Chelsea have hit a rough patch and they desperately need a clinical finisher. Sarri and Higuain have worked together earlier at Napoli and under the Italian, Higuain had his most prolific season.
Higuain is currently at AC Milan on loan from Juventus. Reports have suggested that Juve are not going to stand in the way of the transfer and have given the go-ahead. If the deal goes over the line in January, Chelsea will have solved one of their biggest problems.
