Ruben Loftus-Cheek says he is going nowhere
Having been handed a transfer ban, saying that Chelsea have been backed into a corner would be a bit of an understatement. With Eden Hazard likely to depart in the summer, Maurizio Sarri's side is expected to weaken before the next season starts.
However, they have now received a boost courtesy of academy product Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has now come out and revealed that he is not going anywhere. Chelsea are also keen on extending the Englishman's contract.
Loftus-Cheek told Sky Sports,
"I'm not sure (over new contract). I let my agent deal with it. I'm not thinking about that right now.
"It's important for me to focus on the here and now, and I'm playing right now. It's looking good so there's no reason why I should think about leaving Chelsea."
"There's no reason for me to leave. If I get a pay rise, that'll be great."
