Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sell Ivan Rakitic and sign De Ligt, Kimmich and Ferland Mendy

The UEFA Champions League second-leg tie turned out to be a right smack in the face of Barcelona who walked into Anfield confident and with their heads held high but had to walk away from there with their tails firmly between their legs. The defeat has opened a can of worms and a summer squad overhaul is once again being widely discussed.

Following the defeat, all the heavyweights in the Barcelona team have taken a break to gather their bearings. However, Ivan Rakitic is reportedly in Seville taking pictures and having a laugh. That is not acceptable at a club of Barcelona's standards.

Rakitic has one foot out the door with his future hanging in the air. As such, Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sell the Croatian as he does not wish to see anyone at the club whose heart is not there at the Camp Nou.
