Maguire nears new Leicester City deal

According to the Telegraph, Harry Maguire is all set to sign a new bumper deal with Leicester City.

Maguire caught the eye of big clubs after a string of impressive World cup performances that saw England reach the semi-finals. He was a rumoured target for Manchester United but no deal materialized, with Harry staying put. Claude Puel, the Leicester manager, said: "I'm happy about Harry and Jamie, they came back with a smile.

“I'm happy about the attitude of Harry, it's important for him to remain with us, and to bring strong momentum for this season, I’m happy to keep him. Harry, he's happy also to remain with us."
