League one champions Paris Saint Germain are plotting a move for Juan Mata, according to reports from The Telegraph.
With rumours of Mata being out of favour under new boss Jose Mourinho the cash rich Parisians launched a late bid for the Spanish wizard in the summer transfer window which was duly resisted by the Blues. This however hasn’t put off the Parisians as rumours suggest they are in for a swoop in the winter window.
It is unlikely that Mou will let go the two time Chelsea player of the year. But with 2014 world cup around the corner and his status in the Chelsea first team remains unclear he will be tempted to join PSG and boost his chances of featuring in the plans of Vicente del Bosque.
With Mou pressing for a quality striker he might just be willing to let go of Mata for the right price provided Roman Abramovich is willing to part with one of his favourite player.
