Highly rated Spanish international, and a Sevilla FC player since his formative years, Jesus Navas admits that he is open to moving away from his current club and favours a transfer to former English Premier League champions Manchester City.
“I like Manchester City a lot and it has great players,” Navas told Marca.
“Manchester City has done all it can to bring me in and I have to be grateful for that. I want to go on and win trophies.
“I’m now open to anything. I want to win more and reach my goals.”
Navas, 27, has been a player at Sevilla FC since he was 15. In that time period, he made 388 appearances for the club, scoring 34 goals. In August 2006, a deal was arranged for a transfer to Chelsea, but the player declined the move, citing possible homesickness.
Several other clubs too are rumoured to be interested in the winger’s services.
