Sadio Mane was something of an unknown when Southampton spent over £11 million to secure his services in 2014, but the Senegalese star wasted no time making a name for himself in the Premier League.

It took Mane just over a month to grab his first goal for the Saints, and he would go on to grab 10 goals in his first season for the club, including the fastest hattrick in Premier League history against Aston Villa in an emphatic 6-1 victory.
He would help guide Southampton to a 7th and 6th place finish during his two years at the club, before departing and signing for Liverpool for £34 million two years after he arrived in England.
