Premier League
- This one promises to be tasty... Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all behind Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic. The Croat has been in a rich vein of form in Serie A and has already scored 11 goals this season coming in from the wing.
- Manchester United are in the news again, as is their wont, and Jose Mourinho is very much missing the company of his fellow countrymen up in the cold north of England. He has thus set his sights on the man they are calling the next Cristiano Ronaldo, Benfica’s Goncalo Guedes. Mourinho is a known admirer of the Portuguese winger, and Memphis Depay’s departure has opened up a slot on the wings for the Red Devils
- Let’s go to the opposite end of the table for a bit, where David Moyes’ Sunderland look to bring in Robbie Keane, 36 years old, who is currently a free agent after parting ways with LA Galaxy and Jolean Lescott, 34, who has been training with the Wearsiders after leaving AEK Athens . Just imagine it, though, a strike force of Keane and Defoe – a through back to halycon days of British football, no?
