Turkey and Montenegro return to action in Group H of the UEFA Nations League when they square off at the Samsun 19 May Stadium on Friday. Robert Prosinecki’s men head into the weekend looking to get one over the hosts, having failed to win their last four meetings since May 2016.
Turkey secured their first win of the 2024-25 Nations League campaign on September 9 when they edged out Iceland 3-1 courtesy of a hat-trick from Benfica forward Kerem Akturkoglu.
Before that, Vincenzo Montella’s side kicked off the campaign with a goalless draw against Wales when the two nations squared off at the Cardiff City Stadium on September 6.
Turkey, who are now unbeaten in seven of their last eight Nations League matches, will look to continue from where they left off against Iceland in September and pull clear at the top of Group H.
Montenegro, on the other hand, were left empty-handed yet again as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Wales at the Gradski Stadion Niksic last time out.
This followed a 2-0 loss to Iceland in their Group H opener on September 6, when Orri Steinn Óskarsson and Jón Dagur Thórsteinsson scored in either half to hand the hosts a comfortable victory.
Montenegro head into the weekend on a run of four back-to-back defeats across all competitions, conceding nine goals and scoring just twice since a 1-0 friendly victory over North Macedonia on March 25.

Turkey vs Montenegro Prediction
Turkey will be excited to go up against an out-of-sorts Montenegro who have lost their last four matches across all competitions.
