Taking on AC Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza, not a lot of people would've favoured the game to go the Gunners' way at the start of the encounter. However, Arsene Wenger's side put in a spirited performance to win 2-0 on the night, and take home an invaluable advantage in the form of two away goals.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring on the night as he found the back of the net as early as the 15th minute of the game, before Aaron Ramsey doubled the lead in the 49th minute. As it turns out, there was just no coming back for Gennaro Gattuso's men, as they fell apart far too easily for a team on a good run.
