Jose Mourinho let the youngsters run riot at Old Trafford as they took on Nigel Clough's men in United's opening match of this year's EFL Cup. The Red Devils wasted no time getting into the groove and Rashford opened the scoring with a neat little lob over Ripley in the 5th minute. He followed it up with a spectacular strike from 25 yards out. After that, it was all Anthony Martial who danced rings around the Burton defence and set up Lingard for the 3rd goal. The Frenchman finally got his goal after Rashford freed him up with a delightful through ball.

Joel Pereira fumbled and let Burton pull one back in the dying embers of the game.
