Twitter explodes as Cristiano Ronaldo outshines Mohammed Salah

Portugal played Egypt in Switzerland today and the football world was anticipating the clash between Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohammed Salah.

And my word, it did not disappoint one bit!

Salah gave Egypt the lead with a great finish in the 56th minute, and it all pointed towards a historic Egypt win until Ronaldo happened.

The Balon D'or winner was unmarked inside the box and headed the equaliser in the 92nd minute from a Ricardo Quaresma cross and went on to score the winner with another header in the 94th minute.

And my word, twitter erupted!
