Barcelona forward Lionel Messi winning the prestigious Ballon d’Or award came as a surprise to no body, but the FIFA World XI threw in quite a few surprises.

According to FIFA, the best team in the world would have Casillas, Daniel Alves, Ramos, Piqué, Marcelo, Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Falcao, Messi, Ronaldo.
