The UEFA Champions League group B fixture between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain is arguably the biggest midweek match. While a tough battle was expected between the two sides, the German champions dominated their opponents in the first half scoring two goals.

Bayern's star striker Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring for his side in the eighth minute of the game after receiving a pass from Kingsley Coman. The Jupp Heynckes-managed side further strengthened their lead through Corentin Tolisso, who latched onto a cross from James Rodriguez. Even though PSG had four shots on target, they couldn't turn them into goals.
Here is how the Twitter world reacted at halftime:
Bayern (up 2-0) can win their group with a four-goal win over PSG. Not like PSG to ever lose by a big margin in the Champions League th… pic.twitter.com/ULmkAV73AG
Heynckes really is an unreal manager. Made so many Bayern players falling under the radar back to their best (Alaba, Coman, Müller, Martinez). Hope he wins another CL before retiring for good
I honestly hope Zidane and Perez are watching James Rodriguez tonight. He is everything Real Madrid is missing this season. It took only 20 minutes for him to prove that they made a terrible and irreversible mistake. https://t.co/bzRvjrrEtq
Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to get back in the game in the second half, while Bayern will be looking to score two more and take control of group B. The second half of the game is guaranteed entertainment.
