Chelsea strolled to an emphatic 6-0 victory over minnows Qarabag at Stamford Bridge in their opening UEFA Champions League game. The Blues saw familiar faces and their new signings get on the score-sheet.

Pedro got the Blues off to a flyer early on with a sublime effort from just outside the box while new signing Davide Zappacosta scored an unbelievable effort from the right flank. Cezar Azpilicueta ventured forward and scored off an inch-perfect pass from Cesc Fabregas and another new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko slammed home a rebound.

Michy Batshuhayi started poorly but ended the game with a goal and almost a second which was adjudged to be an own goal. The game ended 6-0 in the end and the Blues were at their rampant
